CACBTA
The Canadian Afro-CARICOM Business Trade Association is a Canadian not for profit association dedicated to fostering economic and cultural ties between Canada, Africa and the CARICOM region. CACBTA is respected as a non-political independent association that operates with no outside funding, nor lobby or seek to promote any individual viewpoints. Membership is open to individuals, small to medium size enterprises and corporations across industry sectors with business activities that include international trade, investment and labour mobility. CACBTA is committed to providing members with the resources, expertise and network necessary to collaborate, innovate, and sustain growth.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the Canadian Afro-CARICOM Business Trade Association (CACBTA) is to represent, promote and facilitate trade, investment, and business opportunities between Canada, Africa and the CARICOM region.
OUR OBJECTIVES
- Build networks and partnerships: Provide a forum towards strategic collaboration between the private sector and government agencies to enhance a collective capacity to promote trade, investments and market expansion opportunities.
- Facilitate trade and investment: Provide resources and best practice sharing to help navigate the complexities of international trade and business development. Connect business and trade accelerators with a focus on supporting entrepreneurs, trades and small to medium size enterprises.
- Access to education and professional development: Provide market intelligence in the areas of regulations, trade-related topics, market trends and business practices to enhance in the global marketplace.
